In a time when there are so many social platforms available for you to be a part of, it’s very easy to connect with your friends. I mean if any of your friends is not on Facebook, go check him out on Twitter and if someone else’s still missing, there is AOL, LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo, etc. So there will always be at least one common interface for you and your friends to connect and it really makes your life simple. But don’t you want to rethink the question? Does it really help you to make connections? I mean isn’t it simpler to drag your big friend circle on your shoulders than to carry them all one by one! I think I’ve made my point.

But actually it’s not my thought that has been put to words above. I’m just a messenger of the real dictator and it’s the developer of the iOS app called MessageHub. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 7.1 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.

When you have friends on all the platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Gmail, etc then it becomes really difficult to stay connected with all of them at the same time. It’s like you’re attending calls from different friends at the same time on different phones. The change MessageHub has brought to the table is that it has turned those multiple calls into a Conference. MessageHub merges all your accounts into one with all sharing the same roof. Moreover, it prioritizes your messages and saves you from reading all that trash that’s been eating your space. Right now, the networks which are supported by MessageHub are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook.

Interacting with all your friends is a one-click process with MessageHub. Whatever you want to share, you can share it with your selected friends and on selected networks. In fact, you can even create a list of your favourite friends whom you’re mostly in contact with so that they’re easily accessible. While merging your addresses, you can select which networks you want to pick your friends from. Thus, your chat messenger combines all your conversations under the same banner. There’s no chance that you’ll bypass anything by mistake.

I must say that the app’s very intuitively designed and simplified in every manner. Under the “Everyone” tab, you can view all the new posts and the conversations section covers all your discussions with your friends. So it’s very neatly divided into two parts and they have their own sub-categories under the banner of different networks but merged with perfection.

If you’re a social addict, MessageHub is a must-have for you. This app is available for free in the App Store and is one of the best things to happen to any such human being!

Pros: intuitive UI; Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook supported; prioritized messages; free.

Cons: none.
