There are around 4,500 languages spoken around the world. The number is massive and tells us about the diversity on the planet Earth. However, there are only 10-20 languages that are mostly spoken or what you’d have heard about. The rest are either local or not spoken anymore. Though the most spoken is Mandarin, still English has got a status of the “world’s official language”. Credit can be given to the developed countries like US, Britain, etc where English is the mother tongue. But it doesn’t matter anymore because the language is being spoken in different countries as much as in a native English country. So there’s a need to learn the language and though you can find a English coaching school every second step that you put, you won’t find a English writing school anywhere. So we here have got one that’ll teach you the proper spells. Let’s begin our lessons.

I am talking about the latest Android app called Wellwrite!. The app has been developed by Ally Team and is compatible with all the Android devices running Android 2.1 or any later version of the OS.

Wellwrite is a very simple, addictive and effective game which stands on its basics. As it’s a game, there are rounds of gameplay and each round consists of 20 questions each. Each question consists of four different choices and only one is correct. The only major difference in the pattern of questions that you’ll find here is that there is no question. You have to pick the right word out of nothing. Therefore, you should know the meaning of the word as well. But if you don’t, it’s only a matter of guesses and your report card would show it off. Yes, there’s a grade given to you after each such round and you can also see your score increasing after each question. So you can see yourself improving day by day.

The difficulty level is high and therefore you’ll have to raise your level to jump off the hurdle. I think the developer has opted for the right approach by choosing the difficult words because it helps in learning new words as well. If we keep rotating about the words we already know, we might improve our spelling skills but we’ll be limited to a world of our own known words. Apart from that, there are achievements to unlock and you can compete with other players as well and determine who the best is.

The app is available for free in the App Store. There are many reasons to download this app such as it’s educational and a lot of fun. But don’t start fighting with other players over any wrong spell. The developers have matched their spells with authorized dictionaries and there’s no scope for errors.
