If you have ever been to a true battle, then look for the wordplays being played out there. If you have listened to some of the greatest artists of all time, then do check out on what message they are trying to convey and how cleverly they put it in front of a wide audience such that only a few wise men are able to crack the crux. It’s truly said that wise people speak less but use their words very efficiently. So, I’ve always been a fan of word games and in search of new such games. You may prefer any language but I prefer English mostly due to its versatility and it is used by most artists. So, I was looking for one such game recently and found it at the very best.
This new Android app is Wordsplosion that has been developed by Concrete Software. The app is compatible with all Android devices running Android 2.2 or later version of the OS. The game is not one of its kinds and there have been games back in the time similar to this one. But still if I’m reviewing it, it must possess some good features which we’re going to discuss next.
The game is similar to a flash game called Alien which I used to play on my PC. There are only five letter words that you have to guess with the first letter already provided. Now, you have to guess the remaining four blanks. You have a total of five chances to guess it correct and after that you may need to restart the game. Don’t worry to put the same wrong letter twice as the letter turns red on the keyboard if it’s wrong. But there’s an additional difficulty that apart from selecting the right letter, you have to place it in the right place as well. So, it’s difficult to score until and unless you actually know the word.
The gameplay is just one side of the game and the second part consists of the beautiful graphics, animations and chirpy sounds. All these elements together make up this game “a diamond in the sky”. You might have played similar games in the past but rare is the chance that you had your hands on a work with such high perfection. It’s a polished game with equally well-crafted gameplay.
The game may sound impossible at times just because it covers all the five letter words from the dictionary and there’s no specific category so that you can think of something relevant. Dictionary must be at your tips or otherwise, you can look for a different game. Of course, it’s educational as well as challenging and that’s why there are some hints that may help you to guess the right word. You are also given more lives according to your performance.
The game is available for free in the Play Store but is ad-supported. However, if you want to go for the ad-free version, it is available for $2.99. It’s little bit high priced compared to what you get. But still, it’s a go-get offer.
