I am talking about the latest iOS app called Cams2Me that has been developed by 1stWords Group. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or any later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.

With Cams2Me, you can remotely monitor cameras and keep an eye on all the happenings. Whenever there is some strange movement recorded in the camera, a notification will be sent to you. You can decide whether you want each recording to be sent to you automatically or not, though it will always be kept in the connected PC for later use. You can even control the movement of the cameras and if there’s any microphone, then it’s all yours. Live audio recordings will be sent to your phone as well.
The app consists of a number of folders. You have access to all the files of your PC and any new file that you’ll download can be accessed from there. There are always options for customization. For example, you can check for the trigger sensitivity. If there are kids under surveillance, then obviously there will be lots of movements all day. So if the trigger sensitivity is kept high, even a sleeping baby can be the reason for notification. You won’t like to spend all day looking at the notifications and finding nothing unusual. So you can change it anytime you want. Apart from that, you can choose whether to choose motion monitoring or not. However, it’s only required in case of extra care.
Of course, the cameras must be connected to the Wi-Fi and the computer. But other than that, there are no connections required and it’s a very clean job, completely out of reach of children. The app is available for $9.99 in the App Store and the price totally justifies its worth.
