7dayz is a free real time social networking app. It is available on iOS for both iPhone and IPad, you just need iOS 6 or after to be able to use all of the features. The idea behind it is that you can create visual stories through your photos and online images. This in turn can help others who are new to a specific area and alternatively, the app is also a valuable tool for the user. We all crave social interaction and stories, so this app really unites both to create an informative and fun app.

Real time stories.
You can view real time stories in the form of images and text within your local area. You can do this by reading the stories of people that you follow, as well as other local and global stories. Once you have created your free account and have set your iPhone settings to allow the app to use location settings, you can press the ‘now’ icon, to view what is happening near you.
The wider world
If you are interested to find out what is happening in the wider world, then you can visit the daily top global stories and trending now pages. Unlike real time visual stories, you won’t get to read what is happening in real time but you can read up on what has happened during the past 7 days. So this is a really useful feature.
Editing features
As well as sharing your own personal images and stories, you can also use the app to catalogue and store them for your own personal use. A great feature of this app is that all of the images can then be finely edited with a wide range of filters. You therefore are able to get stunningly visual images at the touch of a button.
The use of tags
This app features the great feature of you being able to add tags to your photos. This allows you to catalogue your photos so that you can find them more easily. So for example, you can place them in a folder named, family, friends, Christmas etc. However, a more important use of the tagging feature is that tags can then be used to find out what is happening near you.
Help when traveling
The real beauty of this visual story app is that it can help you when travelling and you are in an unknown place. By using the ‘now’ button, you can find out what is happening around you, including places to eat and local attractions.
