A gist about the appAreYouIn is basically the event organizer application where you can organize the events very sophisticatedly. It’s just like any other social media app, but it is has a concrete function to gather people for a certain event be it parties, reunions, get-together, weddings, or any congress under the sun. Just create an event and ask the members – Are you in for the event? They’d reply their availability along with their preferences and comments. A very clutter-free tool dedicated for organizing of any event. It gives the user detailed idea of head counts available for the particular event. Indeed an innovative app in its own kind, it was released last on January 19, 2016 with its very first version, and still in its very initial stages.
Contents of the app
Though we have plethora of messenger apps today, nothing is just dedicated to a particular event planning. The logo of this app is orange colored square (rounded at the corners) with white text “ARE YOU IN?”, and has different categories related to the type of event to choose from. The categories are: Poker, Soccer, Yoga, Movie, Wedding. One can also create a new category and notify people. It is available in two languages: Hebrew, Italian and English. It requires IOS 8 and higher versions and is compatible across all Apple devices.
How to use the app?
You can choose the category from the list, or even create a new event. Give a decent title to the event, name the venue, the date, and the time of the event. After that, you can select the number of invitees you want to call to that event. Once done, send invites to them. When they’d receive the invites, they can either accept or decline the invitation. It is really easy to gather a large group of people through this app. The most similar we can relate to this app is Facebook’s event page, but AreYouIn is much more specific and has the go-to features required to organize the event.
What we like in the app?
There are few planner apps available on the App Store, but this is easily the most simple and clutter-free to the date. The response is very fast, and one can browse the contents in flash of a second. There’s also a Google Maps plug-in for the location feature, where you can mark the widget on the map for the event location. The best part is you can limit the number of people. For example, if you created an event for eight people for soccer event. After receiving the positive confirmation from first eight invitees, the event gets closed automatically. The synchronization of your mobile calender with the app makes it more unique, and it gives you notifications for the same.
What’s there to improve?
Though app is very good for event management, it is naively very simple. With just 20 MB of your space, it lacks some of the advanced features that other planners have on the platter. This can be acceptable since it’s the very first version of the application. The developers have many things in store like image sharing, opinion polls, personalized chats and many more.
But for now, we definitely think that this app is one of the best event planning apps out there. With later versions and upgrades, it won’t be surprising if the app becomes numero uno in its category.
