First Sight, developed by Cazooie LLC, is a multiplayer picture guessing game for users of all ages. The object of the game is to be the first person to correctly guess the object hidden underneath the game board. Simple concept, but loads of fun. First Sight will have you using your guessing skills, as well as help you discover new words and improve your vocabulary.
The game lets you choose from six difficulty levels, and the number of tiles present on the game board increase the with higher difficulty levels. There’s an easy level to start with which gives you a 4×4 grid and relatively easy words to guess, a simple difficulty which includes a 4×5 grid and slightly more difficult words, a medium difficulty with a 5×5 grid, a challenging difficulty with a 5×6 grid, a hard difficulty with a 6×6 grid and an extreme difficulty with a 6×7 grid to image to guess.
Players take turns to select squares that will reveal parts of a hidden picture. The idea is to identify the picture correctly and type in a word that best describes the picture. The app will tell you whether your guess is correct or not and the first player to solve four pictures correctly wins the game. With each game that you win, you can earn tickets, which can be exchanged in return for game cheats. Alternatively, you can also make in-app purchases of tickets, which start from $0.99 for 600 tickets. Tickets can be used to unlock new levels as well as to customize game tiles
The gameplay is quite addictive, and in a way, educational too. It is a good way to help kids improve their recognition as well as vocabulary and spelling skills. And I’m sure kids enjoy learning through a game rather than reading things from a book. New images of objects are added to the data base on a regular basis. This makes sure that when you’re playing First Sight, you dont come across the same images repeatedly, which can dampen the enthusiasm of players, and can quickly make them lose interest. Images are of everyday objects, which can be related to by everyone, kids and adults alike. Another good feature is that you can contribute your own images by uploading them to the game, and they will get included once approved by the Cazooi team. There is also the option to customize the background and express your personality, and you can do so by spending tickets that you have earned or purchased in-game.
There are several ways of playing First Sight. You can play with a random opponent, or invite a Facebook friend to play with you, search for another ser by his/her username, email address, invite someone from your contact list, or just the plain old pass-and-play mode.
