In this busy schedule, it is really difficult for one to find some time to spend with family and if you’re living abroad, sometimes the feeling gets so strong that you want to pack your bag and get back to your home. Though we can’t do this, staring at their pictures is also not an option as if further strengthens the feeling. So here we have a nice way where you can play with your family members as well as other loved ones and still have fun without going back to them. Let’s head to it then!
Family Link is the name of this amazing solution. Actually it’s an Android app that has been developed by Necta Game. The app is compatible with all the devices running Android 2.2 or any later version of the OS. Including your family members in the gameplay is just a part of it. Otherwise it’s a very good game which you can enjoy alone. So if you’re ready with your Android devices in your hand, let’s start with the rules.
You have to select faces corresponding to different members of your family i.e. father, mother, brother, etc. There is a default face for each one of them and therefore you can either stay with them or replace them with the original ones on your camera roll. Then the gameplay includes a lot of those faces on a plane and you have to select two similar faces one by one so that they may disappear. The timer is running at the top and you have to finish all these faces as soon as possible.
But one important thing to note is that there should be a direct link available between both of these faces i.e. if they are placed adjacent to each other diagonally but are blocked from all sides except corners, then they will not disappear. On the other hand, even if they are not adjacent but a line can be drawn connecting those two, than they can be made disappear.
There are two gaming modes: leisure and challenge. Leisure mode consists of many different levels where as you remove some of the faces, new faces take their place. The more you remove, the more time you get and you have to remove all of them before the time finishes. On the other hand, in the Challenge mode, you are given a fixed time limit and you have to completely remove all the faces before the time cuts out.
The graphics are good but that’s not why I would ask you to download this app. Addition of family members is also nice but the interesting factor is the gameplay. It’s fresh, original and very addictive. I am still not bored of playing this game. In fact, the higher levels are really tough and it takes a lot of effort to cross them.
Pros: addictive gameplay; nice concept of adding family members; free.
